School Clubs

 

Our School is very active with its school clubs and we usually host a number of different activites after school including:  football, judo and gardening club. 

 

 Sing-up Group

Held every Tuesday at 3.15-4.15pm and Friday dinnertime by Mrs Williams. This fantastic group have sung at John Bentley School,helped to entertain some of the village residents in Cherhill and were highly praised by members of the public in raising money by singing at Sainsbury's Calne.

 

 

 Judo Club       

ProCoach Judo come into school on a Monday from 3.15-4.00pm.  Judo is a modern Olympic sport invented by a Japenese teacher and is now very popular as a general fitness training method and fun sport.  The school club has a good track record of attracting enthusiastic pupils ready to learn more about judo.  Why not give it a try?  If you are new to judo you can join on the first lesson of a new term for a free trial lesson.  Further details are available in the school foyer.

 

 

 Football               

 

 

Elite Soccer are now the Football Club for us. The club runs on a Wednesday for all years . Details of joining can be obtained from the school office.

 

 

 Art

 

Run by Miss Pearce on a Tuesday at 3-4.15pm. This term the club is open to KS2.

 

 Hockey

 

The Club meets every Thursday at 3-4pm. It is run by Mrs McKendrck and is open to years 3,4,5&6. The team regularly attend matches against other schools.
