Our School ...
Cherhill School was officially opened in May 1961. It was built to replace the small village schools of Cherhill, Yatesbury, Calstone and Compton Bassett.
The school is housed in a light and spacious building, set in extensive grassed and hard playing areas. It is situated with panaramic views of the hills.
As a Church of England school we express a commitment to the Christian faith through our acts of worship and through our strong links with the church, which appoints our Foundation Governors. Christian values, principles and beliefs influence the curriculum and relationships in the school.
Cherhill is a voluntary aided school, supported by the Diocese of Salisbury.
